Raine Eastman-Gannett (or Rani Didi in the East) is an excellent teacher of voice and sound, both in Eastern and Western styles. Her schooling in music began at the Queensland Conservatory of Music, Australia, in voice, guitar and theory and coincided with guidance from her mentor, the mystic poet Francis Brabazon.
Her performance career has included work as a studio musician and singer, collaborations with choirs, and music composition, including nine years in Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir. She has performed widely in the U.S.,Canada, India, Australia and Europe. Her voice of several octaves and wonderful sense of rhythm allow her to perform many styles of music. Raine is also a UC Berkeley 150D Private Voice Teacher for Music Majors.
