It is fascinating to say good bye to someone who has been a part of my
BABA life from the second virtually, that I came in to BABA's presence,
Eruch has played such a powerful part for me in as much as, for me he has
been the masculine side as Mani was the feminine. It wasn't that he was
macho or unemotional, but that he was [ comfortable in his skin ] and always
ready to listen, to give a hand and to be really present in the here and
now.
It was always a delight to be welcomed home by Eruch who would always
say after checking you were in one piece [ have you been up to visit pops
yet ? ] And off to pops one would go. Eruch loved to share ones visits with
[ pops ].
His sense of humor never failed him as he was always so comfortable
replying to a myriad of questions, that sometimes when he simply did not
know or could not give an answer, a gentle smile would cross his face and a
warm and embracing hug would surround one.
He was so gentle with the newcomers but later when he knew you, he did
not put up with peoples games and was very clear to call you on things that
he felt were not appropriate.
His love from his beloved shone through so clearly and brightly and
certainly for me was a true inspiration and I am sure that I have many more
lifetimes to go before I can achieve the purity of his love for the beloved.
He always maintained an amazing curiosity about the way one lived in the
world but alwasy had a core that was deep as many oceans and was way removed
from the world in which most of us live.
Thank you for all the lovely, sad, difficult, joyous, wondrous and
painful times of the many joys that knowing you gave me to many of the
people who follow behind.
